What kind of work does Ultra Graphics do?
Many are not aware of the staggering array of products and services we offer at Ultra Graphics. We can truly be your end-to-end provider in print and marketing for your organization. Not only can we design and produce your marketing and advertising products, but we can help you determine a target audience, budget, and long-term or short term strategy. Many people know us as an offset and digital printer, but over the last 29 years we’ve evolved to include many more marketing tools, such as web design and development, SEM, vehicle graphics, and more. We even have a document services department to serve local law firms and engineering agencies with digitization, copying, booklet binding, and document numbering – just to name a few. How much does this all cost?
A fair question! Ultra Graphics makes it a priority to completely customize solutions for each and every customer, and so there is no standardized pricing or price sheets. Each job is custom-quoted based on multiple factors such as paper stock, size, quantity, color, and more. The good news is that quotes are absolutely free – you can visit the request a quote page and fill out a short form, and you can even send us a file or artwork to give us a more accurate idea of the job. Or, just give us a call at 406-256-4999. We also offer quantity-based pricing, which allows us to adjust pricing based on the number of items ordered.
What’s your turnaround time?
Ultra Graphics is known for our print-on-demand efficiency and speed. Our goal is not just to meet those tight turnaround expectations, but exceed them! Depending on the current workload of the design and production staff, and the complexity of the order – we can do everything in our power to give you a quality product at amazing speeds. For smaller orders, we can turn around jobs in as little as 24 hours – speak with an Ultra Graphics representative to get an idea of the current time estimates for your job.
What kind of design/image files do you accept?
We pride ourselves on being able to work on just about every file type, but in general PDF files are preferred. For images, jpgs sized to the appropriate resolution (see our resource page on resolution) and saved with minimal compression are best, but we can use .TIFF, .PNG, and .BMP too, among others. For vector files or files with vector artwork, we can work with almost anything, but the most common are .ai, .eps, and .pdf. We have the most recent versions of the Adobe Create Suite applications so any .ai (Illustrator), .indd (InDesign), or .psd (Photoshop) are acceptable. If you’re designing in an older or non-design program like Microsoft Word or Powerpoint, saving your file as a PDF is always a good bet.
Where are you located?

Do you just help businesses or do you help individuals too?
While most of our products and services are geared toward helping businesses and non-profits grow, many of those same products and services can apply to any person walking through our front doors. Things like invites, flyers, newsletters, posters and banners, canvas prints, and more are available to anyone who needs them, not just businesses.
How long has Ultra Graphics been around?
Ultra Graphics opened its doors in 1994, and for about the past 29 years we have been helping businesses grow with innovative print and marketing products and services. A lot has changed since then, but what hasn’t changed is our commitment to our customers and partners in Billings and the surrounding region.
But Ultra Graphics is just a print shop right?
We sure started out that way, but as our customers evolved we began adding many other needed services to become the most well rounded and full-serviced marketing and communication firm in the region. Ultra Graphics is no longer just a print shop, we have adapted to meet our customers’ needs in many other arenas of marketing. Nowhere else can you get almost everything your growing business needs to succeed, whether it be print, web, signs, vehicle graphics, marketing, mail and more.
